Product Description
1, Plain Weave Type Stainless Steel Wire Mesh Plain Weave Type is the most commonly used and simplest wire cloth weave. Each warp wire (wire running-parallel to length of cloth) passes alternately over and under the wires running traversely through the cloth (fill or shoot wires) at 90 degree angles. It has an extremely wide range of applications. Characteristics: square aperture, high flow through, relative high open area, as result less pressure drop during filtration suitable for all kinds of filtration up to 63 µm. Very fine meshes can be woven more readily in twilled weave than in plain. each warp wire passes over and under two weft wires. The pattern is staggered on successive warp wires, giving the appearance of parallel diagonal lines. This weave allows the use of proportionately heavier wires in a particular mesh count (number of openings per lineal inch) than is possible in plain weave. Characteristics: square aperture, less rigid than plain weave, especially suitable for deforming, strong wire cloth due to ratio of wire diameter and aperture, it is mostly used for filtration less than 63 μm. Application: Stainless steel twill wire mesh has many good features, with those good properties it is extensively used in oil, food, and chemical processing; gas and liquid separating; pharmaceuticals and spaceflight industry, etc. Standard Stainless Steel Wire Mesh Twill Weave fall in grades as follows: gauge Wire quantity(c/25.4mm) Wire diameter(mm) Weaving method Weights (kg/m²) Warp wire Weft wire Warp wire Weft wire X320 81.3 780 0.100 0.071 twill 1.17 X360 91.4 780 1.21 X400 I 101.6 900 0.063 1.13 X400 II 101.6 780 0.071 1.24 X500 127 1100 0.071 0.050 0.85 X520 132 1100 0.86 X630 I 160 1500 0.063 0.036 0.67 X630 II 160 1400 0.040 0.72 X685 174 1400 0.78 X795 202 1800 0.050 0.032 0.57 X850 216 1900 0.045 0.030 0.52 X1000 254 2000 0.040 0.028 0.50 X1125 285.8 2300 0.036 0.025 0.47 X1250 317.5 2300 0.44 Note: Approximate cloth weight per square meter is calculated in accordance with stainless steel wire cloth. 3, Dutch Plain Weave Type Stainless Steel Wire Mesh Dutch Plain Weave Type is woven as the plain weave type. Each warp wire and each weft wire passes over and under the next adjacent complementary wire, as in normal Plain Weave, except the distance between the warp wires are larger than the weft wires. that means the weft wires are \\"driven up\\" to give a tighter woven cloth with minute openings. Characteristics: ”zero”&aperture, This weave results in greater strength with very fine openings, more solid than square or rectangular mesh, relative high open area, suitable for all kinds of filtration. Application: Stainless steel Dutch wire mesh has stable filter performance, with such excellent property it is widely used in aerospace, petroleum, chemical and other related industries. This allows a greater mesh count in the weft direction. This weave pattern enables the weft wires to be woven more densely, and much smaller aperture sizes can be achieved without forsaking cloth thickness. Characteristics: ”zero” aperture, light-proof woven, high resistance due to tight wire position, extreme low absolute grade of fineness(down to 5-6μm),high filtration performance in case of low viscose medium, it is the finest filtration in hydraulic systems, especially for critical applications as aero-space, fuel-and combustion. Application: The Twilled Dutch Weave is produced by a combination of the features of the Dutch Weave and the Twilled Weave. This type of weave is capable of supporting greater loads than the Dutch Plain Weave, with finer openings than the Twilled Weave Type. It is used in applications where the filtering of heavy material is necessary.
