Frame Level:
Application
The spirit level is mainly used for checking flatness of guide ways of various machines and equipments.and horizontality or verticality of installation of equipment.
A. Type
Graduation 0.02mm/m Unit:mm
B. ration
The reading can only betaken as soon as the air bubble is completely fixed.
The value indicated on the level is the slope of the basic length with one meter long.
If it is necessary.to measure the real slope value of alength L,it may be calculated by the following equation:
Real slope value =Scale X LXReading value For example,scale value=0.02mm/m.L=200mm.reading value (bubble movement)=2 divisions,then:
Real slope value=0.02/1000X200X2=0.008mm.
C. Adjustment
Place the instrument on asteady and smooth even board,after the bubble fixed,the reading should be [a], then rotate level to 180 °, place it again on the original position and take the second reading [b] The Zeroerror of the level is 1/2(a-b).
Then loosen the fastening screw on one side of the spirit hex wrench of 8mm into the eccentric adjuster and start the zero-setting by turning the adjustrer.At this time,if the instrument is found to incline to the rear,and vice versa. For over 5 degrees, or the deviation of the bubble exceeds half a graduation,it will be necessary to make readjustment by turning the two adjusters on both sides of the level untl the bubble does not move to and frowith the tilting of the indtrument:Lastly,it is also necessary to check whether the zero point deviates or not .If it nolonger deviates,then lock the fastening screw,thus completing the cycle of the zero-setting .
Before using,clean the working surface of the level with gasoline and wipe it with absorbent cotton.
.Temperature changes would cause measuring error,therefore it should be keptaway from heat source and airdrafts during measurement.
. Reading should be takenonly after the bubble has come stable about 15 seconds after the level has been located on the test surface. Attention must be paid to the zerq adjustment and the parallelism of the working surface of the level in order to avoid the distortion in leveling .inspection and adjustment are neceasuring.
