Yokogawa ALP111 ALP111-S00 PROFIBUS-DP Communication Module

 GENERAL

PROFIBUS-DP Communication Module is designed to operate as PROFIBUS-DP master devices and exchange data with PROFIBUS-DP devices. This module can be installed on ESB bus node units (ANB10S or ANB10D)  ER bus node units (ANR10S or ANR10D) (*1) or Compact field control units (for FIO) (AFF50S AFF50D AFV10S AFV10D) (*2).

*1: In R3.07 or later ALP111 modules can be installed in the ER bus node units (ANR10S or ANR10D).

*2: AFF50S and AFF50D are supported by R3.04 or later and AFV10S and AFV10D are supported by R3.05 or later.

STANDARD SPECIFICATIONS

PROFIBUS Communication Package (LFS2452) is required to exchange data with PROFIBUS-DP devices.

ALP111 Installation Requirements

ALP111 modules can only be installed on control stations equipped with Control Function for Enhanced Field Control Station (for FIO) and Control Function for Compact Field Control Station (for FIO). These modules can be installed on ESB bus units (directly connected nodes)  ER bus node units (ANR10S or ANR10D) or Compact Field Control Unit (for FIO). Total number of ALP111  ALR111  ALR121 and ALE111 modules:

Enhanced Field Control Station: Max.16 (8 pairs for a dual-redundant configuration)/FCS (*1) Compact Field Control Unit (for FIO): Max. 8 (4 pairs for a dual-redundant configuration)/FCS (*2) Basic Field Control Unit (for FIO  for Vnet/IP): Max.16 (*4) (8 pairs for a dual-redundant configuration)/FCS (*3)

*1: AFG30 AFG40 AFG81  AFG82 AFG83 AFG84

*2: AFF50

*3: AFV10

*4: When not using Application Capacity Expansion Package the maximum total number is 8/FCS. For details  refer to GS 33P03K10-31E “Control Function for Basic Field Control Unit (for FIO  for Vnet/IP).”
