Description:Features: 1) S11-M.R toroidal transformer is built around a ring-shaped core, which is made from a long strip of silicon steel wound into a coil. This construction ensures that all the grain boundaries are pointing in the optimum direction, making the transformer more efficient by reducing the core's reluctance, and eliminates the air gaps inherent in the construction of an EI core (the typical laminated core is made from E-shaped and I-shaped pieces) 2) S11-M.R toroidal transformer is more efficient than the cheaper laminated EI transformer. Other advantages, compared to EI transformer, include smaller size, lower weight, less mechanical hum (only 40 - 50 dB, making them more applicable to indoor use), lower exterior magnetic field, low no-load losses, and single-bolt mounting 3) S11-M.R toroidal transformer is energy saving and maintenance free.
