SF6 gas is provided with the following advantages: 1) High electronegativity 2) High dielectric strength 3) Insulation strength being as high as 2 ~ 3 times of the one of the air 4) Nontoxic 5) Inodorous 6) Noninflammable 7) Having excellent arc-extinguishing and insulation capability Main usage and scope RAG SF6 Gas-Insulated RMU is suitable to be used in 3-phase 50 Hz power distributing system the rated voltage of which is not greater than 12 kV. It can be widely used in the industrial and civic cable ring-main loops and power supplying terminals. It is specially suitable to be used in the power system of the small-scale secondary power distributing stations, switching stations, industrial and mining enterprises, civic residential quarters, airports, railway, tunnels and multistory buildings, for the purpose of receiving and distributing the electric power. Normal service condition 1) Ambient temperature: -15°C ~ +40°C 2) Relative humidity: The daily average value of the relative humidity should not be greater than 95%, the monthly average value of the one should not be greater than 90% 3) Altitude: the altitude of the place where the products will be installed should not be greater than 2,000m 4) Earthquake intensity: The earthquake intensity of the place where the products will be installed should not be greater than 8 degree, the horizontal acceleration should not be greater than 0.4g, and the vertical acceleration should not be greater than 0.2g 5) When the products will be used in the condition different from the above mentioned normal service condition, or under special required condition, the users should consult with the manufacturer
