Product Description
The GPM210 is based on SirF Star 3 chip set. It possess 20-channel all-in-view GPS tracking that reaches extremely high TTFFs at low signal levels and high sensitivity for indoor fixes. Equipped with on board 18x18x4mm patch antenna eliminate the transmission loss of external antenna and hence increase the receiving sensitivity.
The host Interfaces include two UART ports, P contains two full duplex serial ports. One port is normally used for GPS data and receiver control and the second serial port can be used as an alternate communication channel. The transmit and receive side of each port contains a 16-byte deep FIFO with selectable bit rates ranging from 1.2 to 115.2 K baud. The default is 57.6K bauds.
One shot pulse to Wake up control pin can set the module to sleep mode or toggle it back to normal operations. In order to keep the warm start data while power transient or battery exchanging to the module, it has been equipped with a super capacitor which can support up to 30 minutes operations of RTC and the memory that maintain the almanac data of the GPS satellites.
