ULC antenna is mainly applied for 902~928MHz radio frequency identification system,center frequency is 915MHz, can connect the Reader by the coaxial line directly. This antenna is with small size,easy installation, can match with the coaxial line well and have good directivity.
The linear polarization of Antenna
The antenna eradiates Hertzian waves to around space. Hertzian saves is made up of electric field and magnetic field,and the direction of the electric field is the direction of the antenna polarization. The linear polarization of ULC Antenna is linear polarization, the linear polarization is that in the Hertzian waves , the motion trace of the magnetic field vector end is one line. In the Hertzian waves,the direction of the magnetic field is perpendicular to the orbital plane,that is vertical polarized wave. the direction of the magnetic field and the orbital plane are parallel,that is horizontal polarized wave. that is to say,the read scope of the antenna is beeline,compared with general Circular Polarization, its read scope is narrower, but read distance is more longer. The housing of the antenna is made of glass reinforced plastics, has waterproof,acid proof and anti-mildewagent functions

Among its working frequency range,the standing-wave ratio curve of ULC antenna is relative flat and the value is small,is indicates that the antenna is working well now, if exceeding the frequency range, the value of standing-wave ratio will increase sharply and the functions of antenna will drops sharply.
The direction of antenna
For space's different directions, the antenna has different radiations and different receptivity,which is the direction of antenna. The maximum direction of antenna radiation is in the normal that is be perpendicular to antenna surface, all the energy of radiation almost is focus on the direction. On the opposite of antenna , the energy of antenna is very small. When the shape and size of antenna are fixed, the direction of antenna will be fixed too. So the distance of reading label depends on the frequency that readers emit.
