Sieve is suitable to measure the impurity percentage in grain sample or the bran percentage in rice. It is an inspecting instrument to judge the sample's quality. Sieve is suitable to measure the insect pests percentage in grain and oil plant, and determine insect density and judge grain's grade.The sieves are made on aluminum.
Metal framed sieves should afterwards be rinsed thoroughly in clean water and dried quickly in a warm atmosphere. (To avoid possible mesh distortion, metal framed woven wire sieves should not be heated above 80 deg C) Sieves that have been used for wet sieving should not be allowed to dry-out before attempting to clean them.
Materials: Wire meshes for sieves are produced primarily using stainless steel (AISI 304) or (AISI 316).
