Our optical & cable locators scan the ground and use radio frequency signal to locate those under ground telecom lines, fibers, CATV, power cable, gas pipes, etc. Th e3C- TAM3000 locator consists of two basic units: a directional radio frequency Transmitter and a Receiver.
We utilize the principle of electromagnetism. The electromagnetic method is a well-test and most popular method in underground utility survey Function: To detect underground cable/pipe /position and depth; to locate position of hidden cable/pipe.
Underground locators needed to do little more than find buried water, gas, or sewer lines. Today, locating has become more complex as telecommunications cables join utility lines in the underground environment. Surprisingly, though,3c-Link underground cable locators rely on the same basic technology found in their early counterparts--injecting an electrical signal onto the cable being located
