Nomex fabric:
Use the NomexIIIA fiber which imported from Dupont to spin, weave the fabrics.
The fabric is inherent flame retardant, anti-heat, anti-static, anti-arc,etc..
Its weight lighter than other fabrics, but the the FR performance is much better than others,please check the below picture for reference:
The left one is 207gsm NomexIIIA fabric, after 4 seconds of burning.
The right one is 346gsm FR Cotton fabric, after 4 seconds of burning.
At risk, a few seconds time is very very important for people to far away the danger.
NomexIIIA fabric can long time be used below 250℃, without visible shrinkage.
Long time used around 370℃, will shrink visibly.
Long time used above 420℃, will slowly cabonation.
It can be short time to anti the 500 to 1000℃ high temperature.
It can prevent the intantaneous high voltage arc, to prevent the deflagration.

The right one is other similar FR fabric after burning, there is no melt, no drop, but with hole.
