What is Welding Electrodes?
AWS E6016 is a low-carbon steel electrode with a Low hydrogen potassium type coating and can be used on
AC or DC.
It has excellent welding technological properties. The arc is stable. The spatter is small. The slag
viscosity is moderate. It can be used freely. The slag is easy to clean. The welded seam is smooth
and fine and easy to restrike the arc.
Description Of Welding Electrodes
1. We are professional and qualified manufacture for carbon steel welding electrodes: E6016/E6013 E7018.
2. Size: 2.0mm, 2.5mm, 3.2mm, 4.0mm, 5.0mm etc.
3. Packing: 2.5kg/box, 5kg/box, 20kg/carton.
Application Of Welding Electrodes
Welding Electrodes is used to weld low carbon structure & low alloy steel structure, such as 16 Mn
etc. Before welding, it is necessary to clean the work piece & remove the impurities such as oil ,grease
rust and moisture, bake the electrode at the temperature of about 350 degree centigrade for one hour.
Welding must be carried out under short arc & is suitable for narrow path.When used DC,it must be
connected with positive polarity.
Warning
Electric Shock can kill. Do not permit electrically live parts or electrodes to contact skin, clothing or
gloves if they are wet. Insulateyourself from work and ground.
Fumes and Gases can be dangerous to your health. Keep fumes and gases away from your breathing
zone and general area. Keep your head out of fumes... Use enough ventilation or exhaust at the arc or
both.
Arc Rays can injure eyes and barn skin. Wear correct eye, ear. And body protection.
