The manufacturing and operation of rubber apron conditions
1.Mismatch between widths of upper and lower rubber aprons will cause will uneven control fiber movement. As a rule, the total thickness of nip is 1.9-2.0mm, if width of rubber apron is too thick the radius of curvature is small and stress is concentrated and carck occurs. The mach between upper and lower rubber aprons must be reasonably selected according to process equipment for different varieties, hardness and thickness.
2.Pin are area must be smooth, free of scoring and rust, When a new metal pin is to be used, please use fine sand paper to polish it first. Periodically check the old pins for flatness if necessary to avoid scoring on rubber aprons.
3.The rust of middle iron roller will cause uneven operation of rubber apron and contamination on it inner surface will also cause a pause operation of rubber apron. Frequent check and replacement are necessary to wipe the cotton grease, oilgrease impurity and cumulated contaminations on middle iron roller, and replace if necessary. Or replace it with chromium-plated one or use an old roller(together with its shaft) of hardness of more than shore 80 the outside diameter of which must be ground to 25mm and then coated with 2-set coating with a ratio of 1:6 one time. This can reduce slipperiness and improve the yarn quality.
4.IF inner diameter of upper rubber apron is larger, upper pin is not flat; tension is too low, upper and lower rollers are pressed unevenly and the position of tension bracket for lower apron is not correct, the rubber apron will be offset to affect a normal control of fiber run and lifetime of rubber apron. The specification of upper rubber apron has to be followed and ordered correctly and accurately and it must be checked for inner diameter before it is put on machine. As the same time, check frequently the relative parts and correct it if necessary.
5.The difference between linear velocities of upper and lower rollers to rubber aprons and the difference between upper and lower rubber aprons will affect yam quality. So, it is necessary to dispose reasonably the shape of pin bracket, clamping port spacing, pressure of upper and lower rollers and the tension of lower rubber apron according to production process requirement and hardness of rubber apron upper and lower rubber aprons can be designed in different shape and structures(inner patterns, flatting ), and match plan of old degree can also adopted to reduce slipperiness.
6. Clean rubber aprons in time with a special detergent if it is contaminated with cotton wax, oil or grease.
7. When rubber apron is to be replaced, only runner apron of same type, same old degree and same specification can be used for same batch yarns on a same machine. Do not use aprons of different old degree for same batch yarns on same machine to avoid any effect on dry targets differences of yarn stripe between spindles.
