Tongli CO2 laser tube has various advantages, such as large power, good spot mode, long lifetime and stable laser beam. They are widely used in industrial cutting, quenching, engraving, stamp making, leather cutting and carving, craft processing, anastatic printing and medical laser equipment.

Precautions for CO2 laser tube use maintenance:
1. Do not connect the wrong polarity (the end that emitting the laser beam is negative).
2. Connect the cooling water hose correctly (inlet at the negative, outlet at the positive, input from the downside, output from the upside, and no water leak at the joint). There is ample water in the reservoir. Make sure the water goes through the hose and there is no bubble before using the laser. Check every time before using it.
3. We suggest that you add the device in the cooling system that detects the flow automatically to prevent damage of laser due to water-break and over-heat.
4. Please examine the output reflective mirror of the negative to see if there is dust and oil stain. If there is, please wipe it with absorbent cotton, which has been dipped in the diethyl ether, otherwise the power and spot will be affected!
Instructions:
1. Connect the cooling system before use. Input from the downside and output from the upside. Adjust the outlet side to make sure the water fulfills the cooling hose and no bubble in the hose and then start the power supply. Requirements: Use soft water (distilled water or purified water) and make sure the temperature of water is in the range of 25~30 Celsius Degree, not above or below this range. Especially in summer, if the water temperature is too high, please change the water or close the machine for a while; In cold area, make sure no ice in the water. When the laser is turned off, make sure no water is left in the laser tube to avoid burst caused by freezing. (Special notice: if AC input is used, the cooling system must be grounded).
2. The two support points of the laser tube should be at the 1/4 positions and water flow 2L~4L/min; otherwise there will be mode hopping, one beam spot will become several points and the power will drop. The inlet in the cooling system must be drowned, otherwise the water will not fulfill the laser tube every time you turn on/off the machine.
3. Protect the output window of the laser tube properly. Avoid the output window to be contaminated by the smog from the laser, and wipe the exterior surface of the window with absorbent cotton, which has been dipped in the diethyl ether.
4. Before the test, adjust the support points or rotate the laser tube to achieve the best output and then fix the laser tube.
5. Important notice: avoid the dust to accumulate at the high voltage electrode. Keep the high voltage electrode dry and away from metal to prevent high voltage spark and discharge.
6. During the use of the laser, there should be no lime scale in the cooling tube. Otherwise it will block the cooling water and make the cooling worse. Once you find that there is lime scale in the cooling tube, please clean it with 20% diluted HCL.
7. Glass laser tube is fragile. When you install it, please avoid partial over-grip.
8. Use the laser tube properly and save light energy. The best operation current is 16mA.

FQA:
I Not engrave deep enough:
1. Not engrave deeply enough once the laser is lit up: examine if the support points are correct, if the light intense is too small, if the light route is deviated, if the focal length is right, if the lens or mirror is scratched or contaminated. If all the above are right, there must be something wrong with the laser tube.
2. Not engrave deeply after a while: please check if the support points of the laser tube are right, if the water temperature is above 30 Celsius Degree, if the mirrors are over-heated, if the water flow and press are normal, if the water is clear. If all the above are right, please check the laser tube.

II High voltage spark and discharge:

check if there is contamination or moist around the high voltage end, if the distance to metal is too close; if the connection of the laser power supply falls off from the mounts; if the high voltage cable is broken or damaged. If all the above are right, there must be something wrong with the laser tube.

III laser tube breaks, cracks or the water block falls off:
1. If the water temperature is in the range of 25~30 Celsius Degree; if there is freezing in the cold area. Especially, when the laser machine is turned off, make sure there is water left in the laser tube.
2. If the laser works with the water level switch; (test if the laser emits light or not when the water level switch is turned on/off.
3. If the water hose is blocked.
4. If there is bubble in the laser tube.
5. If the water flow and press are normal; if the water flows from downside to upside.
6. If 1-5 are right, there must be something wrong with the laser tube.
Before using and replacing laser tube, please read the instructions above completely to avoid unnecessary loss.
