Description	1. Low (ideally zero) resistance to current in one direction, and high (ideally infinite) resistance in the other.
	2. A crystalline piece of semiconductor material with a p–n junction connected to two electrical terminals. The mounting base of the module is electrically isolated from semiconductor elements for simple heatsink construction.

	3. All componentsand interconnects are isolated from the heat sinking baseplate,offering simplified system assembly.
