Calcium aluminate rotary kiln for PAC production
Rotary kiln refers to rotary calcining kiln, mainly used for calcining calcium aluminate, limestone, bauxite, kaolin clay, gypsum etc.
Rotary kiln is composed of cylinder, gears, support device, kiln liner and kiln tail sealing equipment, kiln head hood and combustion.
Rotary kiln is a cylindrical vessel, inclined slightly to the horizontal, which is rotated slowly about its axis. The material to be
processed is fed into the upper end of the cylinder. As the kiln rotates, material gradually moves down towards the lower end,
and may undergo a certain amount of stirring and mixing.
Calcium aluminate production process:
Calcium aluminate is produced by sintering under the temperature of 1150-1350℃.
Raw material for calcium aluminate production: limestone, allumina(bauxite), aluminum skimmings,etc.
Before sintering, the calcium aluminate is dried, milling to 0-5mm, homogenated carefully and pass for sintering in powder or granule form. Raw mixture is sintered in rotary kiln furnace in clinker form.
Final calcium aluminate has pallet form(round shape), size(10-30mm).
