Operating instruction-electric sander tools
Introduction:
The sander is designed for dry sanding of surfaces of wood, plastic as well as for painter surfaces.
To prevent serious injury from accidental operation
Turn the Power Switch of the tool to its “OFF” position and unplug the tool from its electrical outlet before assembling or making any adjustments to the tool.
Attaching the Dust canister
The integral dust extraction system collects sanding dust in canister supplied with your sander. For maximum efficiency, the dust canister should be emptied frequently during operation.
Slide the Dust Canister onto the back of the Sander. Snap it in place using firm pressure, and then rotate it to be locked.
The collection of the dust will only work if the sandpaper has holes that line up with the 8 dust collection holes in the Backing Pad.
Attaching Sandpaper to the Backing Pad
The Sandpaper can be assembled on sander by clamp lever and Hook and Loop.
1.Clamp lever
To operate the paper clamps on your sander, simply lift them up with your thumb.
Rotate the clamp lever downward until the clamp is fully opened.
Insert one short edge of the sandpaper under the clamp. Push edge squarely up against that flat wall of the platen and close the paper clamp on that side.
Wrap the sandpaper around to fit the other edge under the opposite paper clamp.
Push as much paper under the second clamp as possible before securing the paper clamp. Any slack in the paper will reduce sanding performance.
Place the sandpaper on the Backing Pad lining up the 8 holes so that the dust can be collected into the Dust Gag.
2. Hook and loop
The sandpaper is attached by Hook and Loop to the Backing Pad. Place the sandpaper on the Backing Pad lining up the 8 holes so that the dust can be collected into the Dust Canister.
