E&S Tech Co., Ltd. was established in 1996. 
We have been producing self-regulating (PTC) heating cable since 1999.
We are fabricating 5 kinds of self-regulating heating cables – plumb freezing protection, floor heating, hot-water temperature maintaining, snow melting, roof and gutter deicing.

E&S Tech Co., Ltd. acquired UL certificates regarding self-regulating heating cable product for the first time in Korea. Based on such a stable techniques and strict quality control, we have been maintaining over 2 million meters heating cable manufacturing capacity every year.

We are striving to improve superiority of products instead of enlarging product market. So, we acquired various domestic and foreign certificates, such as ISO9001, UL, CE, FM/EX, GOST and Korean Q mark, etc.

 What is Self-Regulating (PTC) Heating Cable?

PTC(Positive Temperature Coefficient) characteristic was discovered by American doctor Herman in 1950’s. It is the phenomenon that the calorific power decreases by a certain proportion mechanically despite the increasing ambient temperature.

PTC heating cable does not use any metallic heating elements like Nickel-Chrome line, But it is made of nano-compound which is made of mixture of carbon - conductive materials and polyethylene resins have a characteristic that is easily inflated and shrunken by heat.

So, when the temperature increases in one area of heating cable, the polyethylene resins inflate. It causes increase of electric resistance of heating cable, so electricity consumption decreases. In addition to that, it is very effective to prevent partial overheating. In case of heating cable, it can’t generate over arranged temperature.

Heating cable generates more heat when the temperature is low, whereas, it produces less heat in hot temperature. Therefore, it is not only safe and but also consumes less electricity (energy saving effect). 

The temperatures of a room can be various depending onits circumstance due to differences of lightening, humidity and insulation. But, the PTC effect of heating cable means that every section of heating cable acts as its own thermostat. So every part of the floor is always maintained at the even temperature with the minimum use of energy. Such an intelligent function makes heating cable the most efficient electrical heating system.
