Theory:

The circumcision ring works with suture to cut off the blood circulation to the unwanted skin, which will atrophy and fall off naturally.

Composition:

A pack is composed of one circumcision ring, stitches, non-woven surgery cloths.

Indications:

To remove the unwanted foreskin and phimosis.

Contraindications:

1. Acute posthitis and balanitis

2. Acute urinary tract infections

3. Foreskin adhesion fusion

4. Concealed penis

5. Systemic disease i.e. Leukemia, Hemorrhagic purpura, Systemic infection, Neurological and mental diseases

How to use:

1. The patient should receive preoperative psychological counseling.

2. Urinate completely before operation.

3. Put the circumcision ring of right size between the foreskin and glans, and bond the unwanted foreskin onto the groove of circumcision ring, to block the blood circulation inside the unwanted foreskin, which will shrink and naturally fall off at the end.

Notice:

1. The device is disposable for only one use, never reuse.

2. The device is sterilized, in case the inner package is broken, do not use it.

3. After use, it must be disposed strictly in accordance with the requirements set by the hospital or environmental department.

4. Wear loose underpants after operation.

5. Any intense exercise should be avoided after operation.

6. Avoid alcohols, spicy food and sea food after operation.

Circumcision Diagram

1. Use hemostatic clamps to extend the opening of foreskin.

2. Keep the glans apart from the foreskin, and sterilize.

3. Choose the right size circumcision ring, and carefully match the V-shape notch with the frenulum.

4. Bond the foreskin at the groove of circumcision ring with stitches.

5. Remove the circumcision ring handle.

6. Cut off the unwanted foreskin.

OPERATIONS:

1. Preoperative Preparations:

1. 1 Before operation, make some necessary psychological preparations.

1.2 Ask the patient to clean the part of body on the day of operation or at the night before.

1.3 Urinate completely before operation.

2. Anesthesia

Normal anesthesia and basic pediatric anesthesia for children.

3. Operational Procedure

1. Body position: lie down flat on the back

2. Sterilization: take normal sterilization, and lay out the surgical clothes included in the package.

3. Detach adhesion: In case of narrow foreskin opening or adhesion between the foreskin and glans, use hemostatic clamps to extend the foreskin openings till the foreskin are kept fully apart from the glans, and then sterilize the foreskin and glans with saline solution.

4. In case of narrow foreskin openings, a slight cut at the back may be necessary to put in the circumcision ring. Choose the circumcision ring of right size, place it between the foreskin and glans, and carefully match the V-shape notch with the frenulum.

5. Bond the foreskin at the groove of circumcision ring with stitches, remove the handle, cut off the unwanted foreskin, and the operation ends now.

Essential points during operation:

1. The circumcision ring must match the size of penis.

2. The V-shape notch must match the frenulum.

3. On tying the first knot, the knot must be tight to the extent that the stitch will be not rebound after hands release, and then start the second knot.

4. To ensure safety and reliability, tie two knots.
