The good Hastelloy B-3 is a new member of the nickel-molybdenum alloy family and have excellent corrosion resistance to any temperature and concentration of hydrochloric acid. At the same time it for sulfuric acid, acetic acid, formic acid, phosphoric acid and other non-oxidizing medium also has good corrosion resistance. Moreover, the chemical composition of its adjustment, its thermal stability compared to the original HASTELLOY B-2 has been greatly improved.Hastelloy B-3 has high resistance to pitting corrosion, stress corrosion cracking, knife-like corrosion and corrosion of the heat affected zone of welding.
