Australian waterproof fireproof wall insulation wall wrap is specifically designed for use as a tear resistant, radiant barrier and weather protection in wall cavities,and is not a new invention but it is becoming very popular in building insulation. Aluminum foil insulation is a reflective foil insulation used to reflect heat where you want it. Just like a thermos, hot sides stay hot and cold sides stay cold. By reflecting radiant energy back into the home aluminum foil insulation can significantly improve the heat loss of the insulation system. However, by reflecting the heat our of a home, the aluminum foil insulation can significantly improve the heat gain of an insulation system during cooling seasons.

Wall insulation, also called wall wrap is used in brick veneer exterior walls. The primary purpose of wall insulation is to protect against dirt, dust, draughts and condensation. Its integral thermal insulation properties adds to the energy efficiency of the wall system when a non ventilated air space is provided to the reflective foil side. Additionally, the installation of wall insulation will add to the overall thermal performance of the wall when a clear airspace of at least 20mm or more is provided at the reflective side of the foil face.Tough enough to withstand the rigours of construction, it allows work to progress inside the home before the brick work is completed. However, being a secondary walling material, wall insulation is not designed to withstand prolonged direct exposure to the elements. Accordingly, upon application of this product the outer wall cladding should be installed without delay. Reducing glare from the external face of a building is an important site construction and road safety requirement. Wionall insulat has a green backing which is installed to the outside of the building to reduce reflection to acceptable levels.
