Wireless Sensors for Smart Logistics Solution
The tiny temptag with zigbee wireless transmission capability, helps you to ensure and control the cold chain of your goods. The temptag measures ambient temperature and logs the data into the built-in flash memory, once it gets to join with a receiver/gateway, it will upload all the stored data. With a built in GPS sensor the Gateway, shows the routes of the shipments so that the fleet manager can supervise, to make sure no gas is wasted and the goods arrive on time.
The remote control center can monitor and ensure that the goods have been in control all the way and always know in which location the goods are. Implementing a sensor network in any transportation that involves any perishable goods or temperature sensitive produsts such as vaccines, medicaments, food, sensitive chemicals, military biochemicals, laboratory materials, and many similar aplications, can be of cruical value. All of these aplications require an exact knowledge of all temp variations during transport and you can safely use safe goods and safely dispose only the ones that are compromised. This can provide you with savings and even more, with confidence to use only safe goods and materials. This is even more important when your goods are late or you have suspicion that thay are mishandled.
