GS70 concentrated sulfuric acid tank wagon is popular wagon to transport high concentrated sulfuric acid ( concentratiion of sulfuric acid is more than 30%).

The main structure consists of tank, underframe, heating device, end ladder, roof walk board, coupler and draft gear, braking system, and bogie etc.

1. Tank

The tank is comprised of end dome, tank barrel, human hole, and liquid trap. The bottom of tank barrel is slope. The main material is high strength structure steel.

2. Underframe

The underframe mainly consists of center sill assembly, body bolster, side sill and end sill etc.

3. End ladder and roof walk board

There is end ladder on tank and roof walk boardl is assembled on top of tank.

4. Coupler and draft gear

At each end of the wagon will be provided with a high performance coupling device (high tensile couplers and high capacity draft gears) suitable for hauling in rake formation of heavy train as mentioned uphill at the maximum gradient.

5.Braking system:

The GS70 will be installed with the conventional single pipe gradual release automatic air brake incorporated with slack adjuster and automatic load brake device. Each wagon can be coupled with the air brake train. The application and release operation of the air brake system will be quick and uniform.

6. Hanging bracket device

7.The propose bogie can be operated with safe high speed capability, greater stability in curve, hunting-free performance, wheel/rail wear reduction, improved ride quality and extended life cycle.The bogie and its components will be designed to operate with lower maintenance cost between overhaul periods.
