1,Description
Carbide rolls are widely used in metal forming, especially in hot rolling industry mainly for intermediate and last finishing stands to ensuring superior surface finish and dimensional stability of processed metal products. Rolls are also commonly used for wire flattening, de-scaling and straightening applications.

4.Characteristics of the carbide mill rolls
High hardness and good wear resistance:hardness at room temperature can reach HRA78-89,good red hardness under high temperature,600°C over high-speed steel,1000°C over the room temperature of carbon steel.
High mechanical strength:The compressive strengthof up to 60000MN/m2,900°C,the bending strength can still above 1000MN/m2.
High modulus of elasticity:Good rigidity at room temperature ,no significant plastic deformation, Young’s modulus is 2-3 times that of steel.
Corrosion resistance and good oxidation resistance :acid,alkali,600-800°C without significant oxidation .
The linear expansion coefficient is small: in the range of 20 to 400°C
3. Packing method: First in foam , then in paper cartons and the last in wooden cases.
