Bauxite calcination equipment for bauxite powder
Bauxite, an aluminium ore, is the world's main source of aluminium. It consists mostly of the minerals gibbsite Al(OH)3, boehmite γ-AlO(OH) and diaspore α-AlO(OH), mixed with the two iron oxides goethite and haematite, the clay mineral kaolinite and small amounts of anatase TiO2.
What is Bauxite calcination equipment?
Bauxite calcination equipment is mainly used for heating and calcining various mineral materials in metallurgy, construction, and ores etc, such as ceramsite sand, bauxite, limestone, cement, metal magnesium, alumina, hydroxide alumina, fly ash , high aluminum refractory materials, etc.
Bauxite calcination equipment consists of cylindrical shell, supporting device, supporting device of thrust roller, driving unit, moveable kiln head, sealing device on the tail of kiln, coal dust pipe device, etc.
Bauxite calcination equipment working principle:
Bauxite calcination equipment working process is made up of gas flow, fuel burning, heat transfer, and material movement, etc.
Bauxite calcination equipment is to make the fuel fully burning, the heat from which can be effectively passed to materials, so that material can produce series of physical and chemical changes after receiving the heat, finally forming finished product.

Bauxite calcination equipment calcining process:
Crushing Section: Materials are crushed by jaw crusher, then grinded by ball mill to make sure fineness powder.
Mixing Section: Different powder will be mixed based on accurate materials prescriptions. Prescription will decide proppant property.
Balling Section: Mixed powder will be made ball. Water control is the key point. This section decided production Capacity.
Ball Drying Section: Semi-Ball will be dried by Dry Kiln before sintering, Moisture content has obvious effect on proppant property.
Semi-Ball Screening: Semi-Ball will be screened, the screen mesh is big because ball will shrink after sintering.
Sintering Section: Qualified Semi-Finished Ball will be sintered at temperature of 1300-1400 °C, Temperature control is the key point during sintering.
Cooling Section: After Sintering the sintered proppant will be cooled by water & wind.
Classification Screening: Finished Proppant will be screened & classified according to different particle size & packed according to Contracts.
Inspection & Warehousing: Finished Proppant will be tested & stocked according to different production Batch No. , Contract No. & Different Specifications.
