The process of Cassava mill
Raw material preparation - Drum cleaning - size degradation - countercurrent
washing - Bleaching - Degritting - Separation and enrichment - Dehydration - Drying
2) Drum cleaning: Using the GX - 850 type drum washing machine, the machine divide into coarse washing, bath area and net area. Cassava raw materials over the garden wall rotating
rolls forward, with water as medium spraying, washing, bathing and plunge grinding, cleaning,
in addition to the skin. Request to net sediment through cleaning, peeling rate is above 80%, again into the beating process.
3. countercurrent washing : 1) Countercurrent washing of fiber and cell ; 2) Countercurrent washing raw starches .
4. Degritting : According to the principle of proportion of separation, whey will starch with whirl, pressure pump suction bottom flow desanding , flows through the plasma, achieve the goal of sand. After desanding , not only can remove impurities such as sand, but also can protect the disc separator
5. Dehydration By concentrated whey separation process still contains a lot of water, and therefore must be dehydrated and dry. At present more scraper centrifuge discharge plasma method is used to dehydration. After dehydration ,the moisture content of wet starch should
be below 38%.
