FFA : | less than 5 % |
Moisture : | less than 0.1 % |
Dirt: | less than 0.02 % |
Kernel Standard :
Broken Kernel: | less than 15 % |
Moisture: | less than 7 % |
Dirt: | less than 6 % |
Process of making palm oil
Sterilization: Use the high temperature to boil the bunch and sterilize(145°C,90-120min).
Threshing: Separate the fruit from the bunch through strong vibrating.
Digesting: Stirring the fruit,then digest again.
Pressing: Separate the flesh and kernel, get crude palm oil and kernel(no crack-send to the depericarper).
Clarification: Separate the oil and sludge(get 90% pure oil),the oil contains 45%-55% moisture,sludge and other wastes.
Purification: Oil purifying treatment-increase the purity.
Drying: Use the Continuous Vaccum Drier pumps the moisture from the oil,then the moisture decrease to 0.1%.
Process of plam kernel oil extraction
Depericarper: Separate the kernel and fiber through the windy drying treatment,then fiber and other light wastes is blowed on surface.
Crushing: Crush the fruit, get the kernel and shell, in the Hydrocyclone, use the specific gravity of them,separate.
Pressing: Get the crude palm kernel oil.
The palm oil fractionation
The oil will be solid or semi - solid at normal 30-40 degree .
So the solid fatty can be used in the food produced .
So some people like to extract solid fatty . We can make the oil fractionation at
8 , 16 ,24 ,32 degree .
