The process of making maize grits, flour, germ
Core machine of the production line: high efficient vibrating sifter, gravity destoner, Deerminator, corn hulling machine, corn polishing machine, fine corn grits machine, milling machine, low and high pressure fan, plus dust collector....
1. Raw maize primary cleaning: 1 sifting, 1 measurement; equipped with 1 set of dust catching air net to ensure having a good work environment. (According to customer’s requirement to choose it or abandon it.)
2. Raw maize cleaning: 1 sifting, 2 destoning, 1 magnetic separating; equipped with 2 or 3 sets of dust collecting wind net, ensuring to finish production craft and dust catching.
3. Maize Degermination, grading , germ extraction : 2 degerminations, sifting, 3 germ extraction, skin suction.
1) Degerminating: Crush corn into 4-6 pieces, separating germ from endosperm, ensuring the entirety of germ.
2) Sifting: To grade according to the size of material particles; to guarantee the qualified germ and endosperm to enter into next germ extraction procedure;
3) Germ extraction: According to the gravity of material, separating germ from endosperm by sifting plate and fan;
4) Bran suction: According to the gravity of materials, separating seed coat in the mixture from tiny endosperm trough fan;
4.Polishing, corn grits and flour milling: 2 polishing, corn grits crushing, seed coat suction and milling, sifting
1) Polishing: clean out micro skin on the surface of embryo and germ in the corn;
2) Corn grits: Crush big particle embryo into medium, small particles
3) Sifting: To grade according to the size of material particles, sifting qualified flour
4) Bran suction: According to gravity of material, separating micro skin from grade grits through air;
5) Milling: Mill material into qualified fineness flour, sifting by plansifter;
5. Measurement and packing: Add storage before measurement, manual and automatic electronic packing.
