  Pellet Mill refers to a stand-alone equipment. It is the core machine of a complete production line of pellet. Therefore the Complete Line is called pellet plant or pellet complete production line. Generally, a pellet plant can either refer to a biomass pellet plant or an animal feed pellet plant due to the different use of pellets made with different ingredients. Pellet Mill is the forming equipment within a pellet plant, with the auxiliary equipment usually including crusher, hammer mill, mixer, cooler, sifter and packing machine.

A: 3t/h biomass fuel pellet line Chipping & Crushing stage: 

 if the diameter of your raw materials is large,then raw materials will be needed to be crushed into 1-20mm diameter type materials before making pellets,if the diameter is from 5mm to 25mm,then a wood chipper will be required.Wood chips need wood sawdust hammer mill to crush into 1-20mm sawdust before making pellets.

B: 3t/h biomass fuel pellet line  Drying stage:  if moisture content in the sawdust is over 20%, a dryer will be necesary for you to dry raw materials before pelletizing;if MC is below 10%, you have to add some water for increase the adhesiveness.The Optimal MC in raw material is 12-18%.

C: 3t/h biomass fuel pellet line Pelletizing stage: A pellet mill, also known as a pellet press, is a type of mill or machine press used to create pellets from powdered material. Pellet mills are unlike grinding mills, in that they combine small materials into a larger, homogeneous mass, rather than break large materials into smaller pieces.

After the pelletizing process, the temperature of the wood pellet is about 60-80 degree, and the moisture content of the wood pellet is about 15%, so we need use Cooler to reduce about 3-4% moisture, such this the wood pellet is easy to store.

After cooling, the wood pellet will not directly enter into the fuel process, avoiding the wood pellet affected with damp. The packing process is necessary.
