Introduction of wood shaving dryer
Our 3-layer rotary drum dryer is designed specially for drying sawdust, wood shavings, wood chips, sugarcane bagasses and other small size materials with high moisture. The heating source of dryer is pellets, wood, briquettes, coal, sawdust and any biomass material, which feeding these materials into the stove to provide heating to the whole system.
The rotary dryer is made up of stove, rotary dryer main body, air fan, cyclone, air lock, pipeline and electric control cabinet. The rotary dryer can reduce the moisture of raw materials from 40-45% to 12%, to make it suitable for producing briquettes and pellets of use as fuel directly. It adopts hot air to reduce the moisture content of raw materials. The hot air is generated through heat stove at one end of the rotary body, then the hot air will flow with the help of air fan’s suction and when raw material comes through the rotary body, hot air pulled over the material and they product heat exchange, thus the material will be dried with high efficiency.
Features of wood shaving dryer
- Three-pass dryer is with high drying efficiency, heat utilization ratio and less space needed. The floor space is 30% less than single drum dryer with the same capacity.
- Support of roller ring and retainer wheel are integral cast steel structure, with high strength, stable operation, anti-abrasion and long service time.
- Convenient feeding, feeding from middle of dryer by screw conveyor or from the top according to the different materials.
- Sealed by flexible and anti-abrasion steel disc at the drum body and feeding & discharge end. It is of long service time and easy installation.
- Lifting plates installed inside the drum make the material full mixed with hot air, with low residue and high drying efficiency.
- Reasonable discharge structure that can separate from losing and improve the utilization efficiency.
