Description
A 11kw 15hp livestock poultry multifunctional hammer mill with cyclone is essentially a steel drum containing a vertical or horizontal rotating shaft or drum on which hammers are mounted.
The hammers are free to swing on the ends of the cross, or fixed to the central rotor. The rotor is spun at a high speed inside the drum while material is fed into a feed hopper.
The material is impacted by the hammer bars and is thereby shredded and expelled through screens in the drum of a selected size.
Why call it Multifuctional?
Besides a hammer mill of itself, there is an extra hopper and blade, which can be used as a mini chaff cutter. This blade is working at the same time when hammer mill shaft is rotating.
Push stalks of corn, wheat or other long stem straws, you will get regular size of chaffs, without buying one more chaff cutter at all.
