Introduction:
Kurkure/ Cheetos are special extruded snacks, very crunchy and great in taste. They are made by a special extrusion process. The corn grits is moisturized in the flour mixer with water and fed to the Rotary Head Extruder. In the extruder, due to the two rotary plates made of yellow brass, the corn grits are squeezed and twisted to form curls shape. The curls pass through the die and gets cut by the cutting knifes into required lengths. The Kurkure/ Cheetos are fried in cooking oil or toasted in oven and then cooled before flavoring. Seasoning is sprayed on the surface to improve their taste.

1. Description:
Nik naks is a kind of extruded snacks, very crunchy and great in taste. Nik naks is made by extrusion process. The corn grits are moisturized in a vertical mixer with water, oil then feed to the Rotary Head Extruder. In the extruder, due to excess heat and pressure from the screws the meal gets heated and the moisture content gets reduced. The meal passes through the die and gets cut by the cutting knifes into required lengths. The nik naks is fried in cooking oil and then cooled before flavoring. Seasonings are sprayed on the nik naks to improve their taste.
2. Raw materials: adopts corn grits as raw materials meanwhile mixing with water and oil
3. Products: This line can be used to produce cheetos, kurkure, and nik naks
4. Capacity: 120--150kg/h, 240-250KG/H, 360-400kg/h, 600kg/h.

Corn curls machines
Machines involved in making Kurkure:
1. Flour Mixer
To mix corn meal with water to prepare the flour for Kurkure
2. Rotary Die Extruder
To cook the corn meal and extrude the Kurkure from the die. The rotary die twists and curls the meal before extruding giving a uniform texture
3. Automatic Frying Machine
To fry the Kurkure in hot cooking oil. The uniform frying introduces the crunchy taste to the Kurkure
4. Cooling Conveyor
To cool the fried Kurkure and reduce the temperature before packing
