River Sea lake Horizontal centrifugal gravel sand dredge pump use in metallurgy, mining, coal, power, construction material and many other industries with handling most difficult abrasive slurry which contain big solids. It belong to a kind of dreding pump (Dredge pump).
Construction of this series of River Horizontal Gravel Sand Dredging Pump is of single casing connected by means of clamp bands and they have wide passage.
The wet parts are made of Ni-hard and high-Chrome wear-resistant alloys.
The discharge direction of sand pump can be oriented in any direction of 360°.
They have advantages of easy installation, good performance of NPSH and wear-resistance.
Material advantages for River Horizontal Gravel Sand Dredging Pump
The main wear parts in sand dredge pump is wet parts.
An pump adopts many kinds of anti-abrasive materials to extend the lifetime of wet parts. The wet parts material in standard sand dredge pump is high chrome alloy KmTBCr26, which is a wear resistant white iron that offers excellent performance under erosive conditions.
However in order to meet different requirements, we can also produce dredge pump wet parts in other materials to replace high chrome alloy such as Hastelloy, CD4MCu, and other anti-abrasive materials.

Seal Type of River Horizontal Gravel Sand Dredging Pump
There are 3 kinds seal type of sand pump, packing gland seal, expeller seal and mechanical seal.
1.Packing gland seal
Sand pump packing gland seal is effected by hard and soft run-in between packings and shaft sleeve, shaft sealing water is necessary for packing gland seal type, the shaft seal water pressure must be heavier than pump outlet pressure. This seal type is widely used in mining concentrator plant and coal washery plant.
2.Expeller seal
Use pressure seal produced by impeller and expeller in series, packing or lip sealing for shut down seal. There is no need to add sealing water when using expeller seal.
3.Mechanical seal
Sand pump mechanical seal is effected by tight friction between dynamic ring and static ring, there are 3 kinds mechanical seal include no water injection type mechanical seal, water injection outside flushing mechanical seal, and water injection inside flushing mechanical seal. Shaft seal water is unnecessary for no water injection type mechanical seal type. Shaft seal water is necessary is for after injection outside flushing mechanical seal and water injection inside flushing mechanical seal, and the shaft seal water pressure must be heavier than pump outlet pressure.
