Heating Control:

Additional external sensors in digital display models - used for monitoring or controlling the solution temperature.
“Safe sample temp lock” function in advanced models - machines turned off if temperature > 3 degrees Celsiusof the set temperature.
Timer - Up to 999 minutes can be set for heating.
Stirring Control:
Control the speed with sensors - Constant speed, No disengagement of the stir bar, Gradual increase in speed
Brushless motors used in the digital display modes - Independent from the input voltage, Constant speed, No disengagement of the stir bar, Gradual increase in speed
Step motors in low speed - Gentle, low movement.
Top Materials:
1&2. Glass ceramic top - High heating temperature, Anti-corrosive, Less uniformity across the plate, Frequently used in heating solution;
3. Aluminum top - Good heat transfer rate, Better uniformity across the plate: used in heating sample on the plate, Generate the eddy current when stirring and reduce the stirring power
4. Stainless steel top - Good uniformity and heat transfer rate, No eddy current to get more
powerful stirring, More expensive, Max temperature only at 300 degrees Celsius.
