1- Brief Introduction of Disc Granulator
Disc granulator is a type of pelletizer, it can make powder material become into ball or round shape. Disc granulator is one important machine for the fertilizer production line.
2- Application Scope of Disc Granulator
Disc granulator is widely used in powder, beaded or small piece materials, such as coal, cement, clinker, fertilizer and other materials.
It mainly used in the fertilizer field & compound fertilize field.
3. Working Principle of Disc Granulator
1) The pan revolves at a certain angle with the horizontal plane driven by the motor through reducer.
2) The powder will rise along with the revolving pan under the friction between the powder and the pan, on the other hand, the powder will fall down under the function of its gravity.
3) At the same time, the powder is to the pan edge because of the centrifugal force.
4) The powder material rolls in a certain trace under the function of these three forces.
5) It gradually becomes the required size, then overflows by the pan edge.
6) It has the advantages of high granulating rate, homogeneous grain, high strength, easy to operate, convenient maintenance.
