Tungsten carbide flyer bow guides :

The unique combination of hardness and toughness renders tungsten carbide guide one of the most wear-resistant.

Tungsten carbide guide can be diamond polished to a mirror finish as smooth as 0.025-0.05 micron or 1-2 micro inches Ra, for processing ultra-fine wires.

It is particularly adaptable to dynamic applications, such as: on flyer bows in bunching and stranding, where guide breakage is an issue, in spite of its heavier unit weight.

While most ceramics except black Titania are insulators, tungsten carbide is electrically conductive.

This feature makes it the guide of choice for static dissipation in fiber processing.

Dimensional drawings of the more popular carbide guides (excluding coil winding nozzles) which we offer are introduced in this page
Additional carbide guides can be found under the respective product categories designated by the capital letter "T" in the first digit in the part number.
We offer to create molds for tungsten carbide wire guides in the form of bow guide, eyelet guide and ring guide and drawing dies.
