“Durga” the brand name having high value in the drilling rig business. Especially in high depth heavy duty drilling rig since 20 years.

The journey of Durga was started by Mr. Samarathdan Tapariya (Gadhavi Saheb) in 1970 by establishing the small company named Durga Tractor repairing works. In which he use to repair the tractors.

But being a person with sound technical brain. He did lots of experiment and R & D in engineering and established the many milestones in these industries. In order to make the sound company the same so renamed as M/s Durga Tractors.

To name the milestone here few of them.

# 1982 - Designed and Mfg. the Hydraulic gear pump for tractor and started the

“Durga “as brand name. He even designed the piston pumps for dozer.

# 1986- Designed and mfg the first DTH combination rig with centrifugal pump. Supplied to Mr.Kedarnath Sharma of Shivpuri , Madhya Pradesh

# 1987- Designed and mfg the DTH drilling rig operated by hydraulic fully having capacity to drill to the depth of 1200 ft. The first heavy compressor of India designed by Elgi was used along with this of 900x250 given to the most experience person Mr. Batukbhai and Mr. Bhagubhai of Shavaliya drilling co. Gondal.

# 1992- Designed and Mfg. the rear end loader with “Z “bar mechanism on tractor.

# 1995- Designed and mfg. the first drilling rig with deck engine and introduced the Imported gear pump ( Uchida ) given to Khodiyar Borewell co. of Rajkot owner Mr. Kirtibhai Patel the knowledgeable person in drilling rig.

# 2001 – He was awarded by International business productivity form, New Delhi, the “Hindustan Udhyog Gaurav Award” by Hournable Minister Mr. Sharad Yadav and Mr. Ramesh Bias. At award ceremony in New Delhi on 29/11/2001.

# 2002 – Designed and developed the Garbage compactor on truck having latest technology plate type compaction system as per international standard. Supplied the same to Global Waste Management co. Mumbai, K.K.Carriers of Mumbai. The owner Mr.Jamnalal Jain and Mr.Kamlesh jain are the proud first owners

# 2007 – design developed and mfg. The pole digger cum erector equipment on tractor first time in India. And exported the same to Africa. Ciderlink company of Tripoli , Libya.

The Durga Tractors is at present engaged in mfg and exporting Drilling Rig, Tractor Loader, Garbage Compactor, Dumper Placer, etc.

In order to make the company Grow further and develope the same and set further more mile stones

Mr. Subhash gadhavi his son having completed his B. E.( Mechanical) Engineering has joined the organization in 1994 and at present leading the company to new height. Under the Guidance of his Father.

He has expanded the presence of the “Durga “not limited to India but even in the world. In last few year “ Durga “ has exported their product like drilling rig, tractor loader, tractor mounted rig etc. to Kenya, Congo, Libya, Egypt, Sudan, Uganda, Dubai, Yemen, UAE , Burma. Manmar Etc.
