PMG20 Pipelayer is the equipment specially designed for various pipe laying operations by Pipelineman.

A special chassis, Model T140-2, normally used by bulldozers, together with a wet clutch and brake system, are used to improve the operational life and reliability of the equipment.
The hydraulic crane boom is installed with a location snubber to avoid bending damages of the boom. The over-rolling limiter can protect the equipment from possible damages on hook and slings. The emergency off-loading device may ensure the safe operations of the operator once over-loading and equipment tilting occurs.
The direct-injection turban-drive supercharged diesel engine, Model WD615, is used to ensure high operational reliability and long operational life.
A hydraulically-operated mechanical transmission system, Model T140-2, is used to operate at 98% in transmission efficiency.
The loading system uses full-hydraulic transmission for stable transmission and unique micro-performance controls.
The operational system, including gear-shifting, turning and braking system, uses flexible-shaft and rod for direct pushing and pulling to ensure convenient and reliable driving operations. The loading system is equipped with universal hydraulic lever for easy control operations in boom extension and hook loading, whereas the counterweight stretching is controlled by a hydraulic lever.
