1.Do i need a specific nunchuk for the wii u?

2. I want to play Lego Star Wars 3 on my wii U and purchased the old controller to play the wii game,but it does nothing,so what should i do  ?

-- Most wii games require a nunchuck. It's  better to have a couple wii remotes+nunchuck pairs as some wii U games give you the option to use them and it's generally the better control scheme when they do. you can choose our 2 in one nunchuk+remote controller one ,it will be perfect work for your wii u and wii
