Hollow Cone Spray Nozzle Feature and Application:
Tangential hollow cone nozzles are used in tunnel pasteurizers for both cooling and heating food and beverage bottles. The nozzles are arranged in an overlapping pattern overhead so that they provide full spray coverage. The hollow cone produces small droplets which are most suitable for this type of application.
Water is often reused in the pasteurization process as the bottles are transported throughout the various cooling and heating zones. As a result, particulates in the water can result in clogged nozzles. Ramp Bottom Tangential hollow cones work best in this type of environment because they contain no vanes and are virtually clog-free.
