This 0-28% traditional salinity refractometer is designed for testing the concentration of salt water in brine and prepared food solution, used mainly in food industry. Shows concentration (Parts per Thousand) of salt in water. Works in ambient light with no battery or other power source necessary.
It has ATC that automatically adjust itself to correct temperature discrepancies. Once calibrated the refractometer will compensate for shifts in temperature between 10~30°C without affecting accuracy. Liquid's temperature quickly equilibrates with the temperature of the Refractometer. Simply place a drop or two of sample on the prism and read the results immediately.
