This refractometer are equipped with °C unit system. It is designed to test concentration of battery fluids, antifreeze liquid and cleaning fluids. Compared with other Battery Acid refractometers, this tool has 4 scales design to measure the freezing point of Windshield Cleaning Fluid.With the indication of the percentage of concentration, you will know at which temperature (°C) of the fluid will be frozen for Propylene Glycol, Ethylene Glycol and Cleaning Fluids.
Furthermore, it can be used for checking the strength of electrolyte solution batteries in unit of Specific Gravity (sg). Specific gravity (sg) is the ratio of the density of a given solid or liquid to the density of water at a specific temperature and pressure. It is built with Automatic Temperature Compensation (ATC), so that the refractometer is automatically adjusted to correct temperature discrepancies of environment temperature.
