Drum Sieve(Trommel Screen)
Drum screen also can be called five-class roller type automatic screening machine,which is another generation new special equipment of material screening after vibrating screen.
With an overall design of a stratified isolated automatically screening system, it is a fundamental solution
to the vibrating screen large power consumption,fast abrasion screen,screen replacement and many problems
those users are difficult to solve.The Drum Screen has the following features:high yield,low loss,
low cost for screening material,simple installation and convenient maintenance etc.It is the ideal professional
equipment for materials screening manufacturers such like fire-resistant plants, ceramic plants, furnace plants, coal washing,quartz powder materials and so on.
This machine adopts the hierarchical design principle that crude materials(large materials) screened first and then fine materials (small materials),so as to greatly extend the mesh screen's life.
As a result of the basic principles of rolling material screening, it can not only make materials in the mesh screen take much less time,
but also can promote materials screened to the next lower layer.On the other hand, materials not been screened move forward
with the mesh screen's inclined rolling.Thus it effectively avoid problems of vibrating screen like easy accumulation of materials,
easy to clip material and the material in the feed area staying too long.
In the factory,four- class mesh screen specifications selected for the machine were 1mm, 3mm, 5mm and 8mm.8mm or more above the screen.So it can screen
a total of five classes materials.Users can choose or change the screen specifications according to their material characteristics.It is easy to
replace the mesh screen.Just remove the sealing strip pressed above the screen,install a new screen and tighten the screw.
The inlet of Drum Screen is designed according to the specifications φ400mm with a certain inclination.Users can use manually feeding or
automatically feeding system.The inlet is 1650mm from the ground(centerline of its).There are five outlets setting in different positions,so it can guarantee materials not to mix when out.The specifications of the outlet is 100-200mm.
When screened materials being manually loaded,the outlet can fix the bag not falling off.We can close the outlet while we change the bag in order to achieve
a little time for replacing and moving the material bag.The outlet is 500-600mm from the ground.When users adopt the automatic discharging system,the minimum distance of the outlet is 400mm,which can meet the general user's
install location of the automatic discharging system.
Designed with gearbox reducer system,the speed is reasonable.The linear velocity of external circle is 84 m/min,and the inner is 57 m/min. If users want to adjust
the speed when screening materials, they just need to replace a belt pulley.
The whole body is designed to automatic closed system,which could effectively prevent the severe environment of vibratory dust flying everywhere.So it can
basically ensure the physical and mental health of field operators.
