Product description
Gabion Mattresses serves as a retaining wall, providing various prevention and protection works such as landslide prevention, erosion and scour protection as well as various type of hydraulic and coastal protection for river, sea and channel protection. This Gabion Mattress System is made up of a specially designed composite in order to maximize its performance through three phases of vegetative process from unvegetated to vegetation establishment up to vegetation maturation
Material
1)galvanized steel wire:
high quality low carbon steel wire, steel wire diameter is 2.0 MM to 4.0 MM, the tensile strength of steel wire shall be not less than 300 mpa, the surface of steel wire is hot galvanized, the thickness of the galvanized layer produced is according to customer requirements, galvanized quantity is up to a maximum of 300 g/m2.
2) aluminum zinc - 5% galfan wire
(also called Gore van) wire, this is a kind of international new material in recent years,corrosion resistance is three times bigger than the traditional pure galvanized, steel wire diameter can be up to 2.0 MM to 2.0 MM, the tensile strength of steel is not less than 380 mpa.
3) the plastic coated galvanized steel wire:
high quality low carbon steel wire, on the surface of steel wire wrapped a layer of PVC or PE protective layer, and then woven into a variety of specifications of gabion mesh.This protective layer will increase significantly in the high pollution in the environment protection, and through the choice of different color, can make the fusion and the surrounding environment.

Commonly the edge wire diameter is 0.5mm-1.0mm thicker than wire diameter,
The tie wire diameter is 2.2mm in common.
PVC coated wire diameter is 1.0mm thicker than inner wire diameter.
