In a run or bay of racking, the non-corner uprights along the length of the racking can be subject to accidental impact. Generally these impacts occur at lower levels from vehicles but can also occur at higher levels on the rack legs from misalignment or bad positioning of goods or pallets being loaded on to the racking shelves. To maintain the racking systems integrity and safety it is necessary that damaged racking legs are replaced. This takes time and effort in replacing damaged parts, all of which costs money (and can often be very expensive).
The rubber shock absorber is made of rubber, just like all A-Safe barriers. Its curved shape helps deflect impact, but the flexible material means that it absorbs impact too - therefore damage to racking and its content is minimised considerably. With this absorber, you get racking protection that can't be found elsewhere.
