Expanded metal mesh
Expanded wire mesh is the industry a variety of metal mesh, also known as expanded metal. A rigid piece of metal that has been slit and drawn into an open mesh pattern in a single operation.
Expanded wire mesh is used in buildings and construction with concrete, maintenance of equipments, crafts, covering screen for sound case, highway, studio, railway and bridge. Heavy expanded metal can be used as step mesh of oil tanks, working platform, corridor and walking road for heavy model equipment, boiler, petroleum and mine well, automobile vehicles, big ships, etc.
1. Material: Iron, Aluminum, Steel, Aluminum Alloy etc.
2. Surface Treatment:
1) For aluminum material: a. Anodized finish, b. Powder coated, c. PVDF, d. Without treatment is ok
2) For iron steel material: a. Galvanized, b. Powder coated, c. Spray painted expanded metal mesh
3. expanded metal characteristics:
1)It is relatively light weight;
2)Aluminum has a relatively bright surface;
3)Low cost;
4)Uniform sheet thickness and mesh opening sizes;
5)Aluminum mesh material is quite soft and can be easily bent into various shapes.
4. Application: Expanded metal is widely used in road, railway, civil building construction, and water conservancy project. It alo can be used in outer wall decoration and chemical industry as window screen, filter etc.
