Introduction:  

  Double layer glass reactors are temperature and vacuum controlled instruments and pharmaceutical-grade mixing vessels with a 304 stainless steel reinforced PTFE agitator, capable of mixing and speeding up to 600 RPM. 

     It is allowed in reactor to pull vacuum, load and feed material from a receptacle, then directly into the reactor through the feeding funnel. By using this method, the potentiality of oxidization is eliminated. Note: If there are volatiles being mixed in the reactor (such as solvents), we recommend chilling the condensing coil when pulling vacuum, in order to avoid pulling solvent into the vacuum pump. 

     A glass discharge port on the bottom of the jacketed glass reactor allows you to directly feed material from the reactor into the feed tube of our rotary evaporators, for a complete ethanol extraction system.
