Production Description 

    The process of horizontal continuous casting of Brass ribbon is described as below

Copper → melting→(automatic inlet) holding → mould → primary cooling → secondary cooling → pulling → on-line cutting→. coiling machine.

 

The metals are ready to be put into the melting furnace, During melting, checked from the melting furnace. the molten metal should be well covered by the protective material, Before the molten metal to be automatic transferred into the holding furnace, proceed Holding and casting.

 

Before casting, the molten metal in the holding furnace is normally controlled at 1100~1250°C in temperature and a certain the level in height, The molten will flow into the mould by its gravity, Then the casting operation can be performed by the pulling machine under the parameters preset according to the characteristics of the alloy, The casting procedure is controlled by touch screen, to achieve the operation of pull-dwell-withdrawal, The interval and speed during pull-dwell-withdrawal is also digitally controlled by touch screen.

 

The strip billet measured by program code and to arrive the setting lenth,the plc will give massage to the shear to cut the billet, After cutting, the billet head will enter the coiling machine.

Through bending roller. supporting roller ,guiding roller and driven by main motor and hydraulic system, the billet become in coil.

 

  Main Features

The line has a complete range of functions, reasonable parameters of performance, which enable it to achieve semi-auto control.

The whole set of control of the line adopts SIEMENS servo-motor, PLC and touch screen, which features accessible operation and maintenance, reliability and wide range of adaptability.

To facilitate the operation. the temperature in the holding furnace can be controlled in either manual mode or auto mode.

Operating system with length measuring unit, as per the belt length on feedback signal, to control hydraulic shear of the working will Guarantee the belt length and weight.

The line has the functions of process parameters preset and adjustment and the functions to display all the parameters from process and the equipment.

 

The control system has the functions of alarm, protection, The touch screen on operational panel can display all the alert parameters.
