Product Description
Schisandra chinensis extract
Plant source: it belongs to Magnoliaceae and is the dry and mature fruit of Schisandra chinensis (Turcz.) Baill. It is also called North Schisandra and so on.
Ecological distribution: perennial deciduous woody vine, it is usually born in secondary broad-leaved forest or coniferous broad-leaved mixed forest. It mainly distributes in Northeast China Heilongjiang, Jilin and Liaoning Province etc. North Schisandra is the genuine plant medicinal herbs, traditional using product with excellent quality.
Active ingredient: includes lignin (Schisandrin A, Schisandrin B, Schisandra C, Schizandrol A, Schizandrol B, Schisantherin A, Schisantherin B) and polysaccharide, polyphenol and volatile oil. It also includes organic acid and sterol etc. North Schisandra possesses high lignin especially the Schizandrol A and Schizandrol B contents obvious are higher than other Schisandra.

Character: light brown to brown and light yellow powder or brown paste. With special odor, sour and austerity taste.
