Mode of Action
Pseudomonas fluorescens suppresses soil borne diseases which are caused by pathogens due to its adaption to soil application and foliar spray. It enhances plant growth and yield and simultaneously reduces extremity of many diseases. It assists in absorption and uptake of various nutrients and also acts as a growth promoter by producing plant growth promoting substances. Pseudomonas produces Iron chelating siderophores, antibiotics, hydrogen cyanide and lytic enzymes (Cellulase, Chitnase and protease) which are directly involved in the reduction of plant pathogens and thus giving rise to resistance.
Benefits
Very effective in controlling crop diseases like Collar Rot, Root rot, Stem rot, Wilts, Blights, Leaf spots, Alternaria, Anthracnose, Downy & Powdery mildew. This product gives better results than any chemical and is very cost effective.
Method of Use
Mix with well decomposed farm yard manure or any compost and broadcast during land preparation followed by irrigation.
Recommended for (Crops)
Maize, Sugarcane, Vegetables, Paddy, Wheat, Pulses, Oil seeds, Cotton, Apple, Citrus, Grapes, Guava, Mango, Papaya, Pomegranate,Cucurbits, Beans, Pea, Cardamom, Cumin, Ginger, Tea and other Plantation crops.
Standard Dose : 2.5 kg per hectare.
Caution : Pseudomonas flourescens should not be mixed with any chemical fungicide.
