Mode of Action
The pathogen fungi is wrapped around by Trichoderma viride which results in damage of its cell walls due to antibiotics and extracellular enzymes produced by Trichoderma viride. The pathogen fungi gradually collapses and disintegrates.
Benefits
Trichoderma viride is an excellent product working very effectively on soil borne diseases like root rot, stem rot, black rot, die back, damping off, fusarium and verticillium wilt.This product gives better results than any chemical and is very cost effective.
Method of Use
Mix with well decomposed farm yard manure or any compost and broadcast during land preparation followed by irrigation.
Recommended for (Crops)
Oil Seeds, Cereals, Pulses, Cardamom, Citrus, Cotton, Apple, Banana, Grapes, Pomegranate, Vegetables, Tea and Coffee.
Standard Dose : 2.5 kg per hectare.
Caution : Trichoderma viride should not be mixed with any chemical fungicide.
